Tuks Landbou is more than just an organization, we are the hope for the future and the farmers of tomorrow. We are a dynamic group of individuals who thrive when they work together. Finally, we bring farming to the student and expose them to various aspects regarding farming in South Africa. We broaden our knowledge and our students’ sense and thus build a future for ourselves and the agricultural community.
We strive to give students the necessary contact with the industry to see practically what everything is above and beyond the theory and university-based practice.
To say that Lamb Champs Pretoria 2025 was a success is a huge understatement! Loftus saw 7000 beaming smiles on the 26th of July We are proud of Tuks Landbou member and farmer, Wian Swart who participated with his farm SSV Suffolks. We are incredibly proud of you, Wian!
Tuks Landbou proudly supported Boran SA’s National Boran Auction on 12 July at Afridome in Parys.
Tuks Agricultural Netball has had a very successful season so far. Our team consists of almost 40 members and includes a Senior Girls team as well as a Mixed Team. Support is never lacking on the sidelines of every match. Thank you to every member who made Tuks Agricultural Netball’s first year such a great success. A special thank you to council member Gelene Beukes for your dedication to our netball teams – we couldn’t have done it without you!
