17 – 21 February
Kalahari Red Week took place from 17 to 21 February. It was an educational opportunity where Tuks Landbou members could chat with veterinarians and farmers.
Activities such as pregnancy testing, information sessions about the Kalahari Red breed, goat shows, and much more took place during the week.
The week was concluded with an auction on 22 February where the Kalahari Red record price was broken. A Kalahari Red ram was auctioned for an astronomical amount of R280,000.
